Description :

PF-4 is a CXC chemokine that is expressed in megakaryocytes and stored in the alpha-granules of platelets. PF-4 is chemotactic towards neutrophils and monocytes and has been shown to inhibit angiogenesis. Recombinant human PF-4 is a 7.8 kDa protein containing 70 amino acid residues, including the four highly conserved residues present in CXC chemokines.

Stability :

The lyophilized protein is stable for at least 2 years from date of receipt at -20⁰C. Reconstituted PF-4 is stable for at least 3 months when stored in working aliquots with a carrier protein at -20⁰C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

Greater than 98% by SDS-PAGE gel and HPLC analyses.

Endotoxin Level :

Endotoxin level is less than 0.1 ng per µg (1EU/µg).

Biological Activity :
