SMR3B蛋白背景綜述

SMR3B belongs to the PROL1/PROL3 family. SMR3B is secreted into saliva by submaxillary gland. It cannot be detected in heart, brain, lung, liver, skeletal muscle, Kidney, pancreas or placenta. SMR3B may be involved in triggering angiogenesis and establishing microvasculature. SMR3B also serves as an attractive therapeutic target with respect to both angiogenesis and cancer metastasis.
